eChristian Engages Dan Wright and Eric Nordhoff to Represent Livingstone

Wednesday, May 9th, 2012

Escondido, California, May 9, 2012 – eChristian has added two industry veterans to represent its Livingstone division to the publishing industry. Joining long-time publishing expert Tom Freking, Christian publishing veterans Dan Wright and Eric Nordhoff will also serve as independent representatives to offer Livingstone services to a wider group of companies and organizations.

“I’ve known Tom, Eric and Dan for years and know they are respected in the Christian product industry,” said eChristian publisher Dan Balow. “Each has valuable expertise that makes us a better company.”

Eric Nordhoff has worked in the Christian music industry and in international product distribution, licensing and development through his companies Go Global Entertainment and Quietime Music in Nashville. He has represented eChristian products to the international market for several years and is a respected business developer in the Christian market.

Eric comments, “There is a great need to offer Livingstone’s services to the Christian music industry. We’re looking to develop partnerships with key players here in Nashville to create relevant product concepts for music consumers.”

Dan Wright has spent much of his career leading the export and licensing teams of Thomas Nelson, Inc. In addition, he has a diverse background in sales and retailing in both the Christian and general markets. Wright has enjoyed collaborative partnerships and discovering new marketing opportunities for existing content.

Adds Wright, “Publishers must move quickly to capture momentum created by cultural events and trends and to create products that connect today’s readers with today’s needs. I relish keeping publishers at the forefront of design and relevance; not to mention providing substantial revenue opportunities.”

Livingstone was founded in 1988 with publication of the Life Application Study Bible. Since then, Livingstone has completed over 600 specialty Bibles, books, and other published works and has expanded its business to include typesetting and graphic arts services. Livingstone was acquired by eChristian, Inc. in November 2011, and operates out of their offices in Carol Stream, Illinois.

eChristian, Inc. began in 2004 as christianaudio to fill a demand for thoughtful and Christian content in the audiobook format. In 2011, the company changed its name to eChristian to represent all business divisions including eC Publishing Group, websites christianaudio.com and eChristian.com, Livingstone, and the eChristian retail platform that powers websites for retailers and ministries. eChristian, Inc. is based in Escondido, California and Carol Stream, Illinois.
