Livingstone V.P. Tom Freking Departs to Form Independent Consulting and Sales Company

Carol Stream, IL, February 9, 2012 – eChristian, Inc. announced that Tom Freking is leaving its Livingstone publishing services division to form his own consulting and sales company, working with religious publishers, and key suppliers. Tom served as Vice President of Sales for Livingstone over the last two and a half years after a long career at R.R. Donnelly working with publishers throughout the industry.

Publisher for eChristian, Inc., Dan Balow, said this of Tom, “He looks forward to coaching his many friends in the publishing industry. He’s the perfect guy to help publishers navigate the changing landscape. He will continue to help us by representing Livingstone services to publishers. We are his first client”.

Tom will focus in areas of content development strategy, smart design to reduce cost of manufacture, improving manufacturing strategies (domestic and Asia,) unlocking profit opportunities in key backlist titles, competitive sales strategies, and consulting on strategic implications of industry events going forward. Since then, Livingstone has completed over 500 published works, and has expanded its business to include typesetting and graphic arts services to support their mission of helping publishers bring ideas to marketplace.
